Sandra Breyer vanishes, seemingly from within her home. She had always been like a mother to Cole Mendoza, owner of a private security company in Detroit. Police claim she abandoned the house, arousing Cole’s suspicions. He leaves the city and moves to Ravensblood, into Sandy’s old Victorian to investigate. The ghostly woman walking in the upstairs hall causes Cole to question his sanity. But she may have information he needs. After discovering corpses beneath the house, Cole feels he’s in over his head. His search leads him to team with a psychic, an ex-occultist, and a beautiful Catholic nun named Sister Victoria. Cole is smitten with Victoria, and they share a forbidden attraction. Through their traumatic investigation, he and she bond, and emotions develop. Cole and Sister Victoria’s feelings grow but there is more to Victoria than meets the eye.
